Supply Chain Manager – Print Management
Location: Stockport, South Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Bonus
About the Company
Our client is a well-established and growing print management business, delivering a wide range of print, mailing, and fulfilment solutions to both public and private sector organisations across the UK.
With an established supplier network and ambitious plans for continued growth, they are now seeking a Supply Chain Manager to play a key role in developing supplier relationships, supporting operational delivery, and helping the business identify new opportunities for improvement and expansion.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on position, working closely with the senior leadership team to manage and develop a network of print, mailing, and fulfilment partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring suppliers consistently deliver against service expectations, identifying new supplier opportunities, supporting growth, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the wider supply chain.
The role offers significant autonomy and would suit somebody who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and bringing new ideas to the table.
There will also be opportunities to travel to supplier sites, industry events, and exhibitions as part of developing relationships and identifying new capabilities within the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to support business growth and increase capacity.
- Monitor supplier performance and service delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, service levels, and agreements.
- Support quotation, tender and pricing activities where required.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and supplier performance.
- Monitor industry trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Attend supplier meetings, site visits, and industry events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for supplier-related matters across the business.

- Comfortable managing multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and pricing information.
- Forward-thinking, proactive, and keen to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Someone who enjoys contributing ideas and helping shape how a business operates.
Package
- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary, however this is negotiable for the right person
- Performance related bonus based on company profits (circa 10% of salary).

- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service to a maximum of 25 days.
