We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Garden Designer to design attractive, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, prepare design concepts, create planting plans, and oversee project implementation.

• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, budgets, and design preferences.
• Conduct site surveys and assess environmental conditions.
• Develop garden design concepts, sketches, and detailed plans.
• Prepare planting schemes suitable for local climate and soil conditions.
• Create technical drawings using design software.
• Select appropriate plants, materials, and garden features.
• Collaborate with landscapers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Provide maintenance recommendations to clients.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, sustainable practices, and new plant varieties.

• Qualification in Landscape Design, Garden Design, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plants, planting design, and garden construction.
• Experience using CAD or garden design software.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Full driving licence.

• Membership of a professional landscaping or horticultural organisation.
