- Oversee the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
- Manage administrative systems including pupil records, attendance, and data management
- Support financial administration, including orders, invoices, and budget monitoring as required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
- Line manage administrative staff where applicable and support their development
- Coordinate communication across the school, including emails, letters, and reports
- Support senior leaders with administrative tasks and reporting deadlines
- Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection procedures are followed at all times
- Has proven experience working as an Office Manager or administrator within a school setting
- Demonstrates strong organisational and time management skills
- Is confident using school management information systems and office software
- Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, parents, and external partners
- Is calm, approachable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection
- Works well independently and as part of a wider school team
- Is committed to supporting the smooth running of a school environment
