Advanced Electrician – Social Housing

West London (Kensington, Chelsea & Surrounding Areas)

Salary: Up to £47,546 per annum

Permanent Full-Time Monday–Friday

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Electrician to join a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across West London.

The Role

• Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties
• Fixed wire testing, inspection, and fault finding
• Electrical installations, upgrades, and remedial works
• Completing certification and compliance documentation
• Diagnosing faults and delivering first-time fixes where possible
• Working to agreed service levels and performance targets
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and residents
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
• Experience carrying out fixed wire testing and electrical maintenance
• Experience working within social housing, domestic, or property maintenance environments
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• Full UK Driving Licence
