Early Years Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026, with full-time KS1 teaching responsibility
This Early Years Teacher role is within a school environment where children benefit from a caring, well-structured approach to learning and strong pastoral support. - Plan and deliver high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Teach Key Stage 1 pupils on a full-time basis alongside early years responsibilities
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment
- Support children’s development across communication, language, literacy, numeracy, and personal development
- Use assessment to track progress and inform planning across EYFS and KS1
- Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour expectations
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues across year groups
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers through effective communication
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider school development
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and follow all school policies
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status
- Has experience teaching in Early Years and Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and the KS1 curriculum
- Is confident managing differing age groups and adapting teaching accordingly
- Is organised, flexible, and able to manage a varied teaching timetable
- Is warm, patient, and committed to supporting young learners’ development
- Works effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Is able to commit to a long-term, ongoing role from September 2026
