KS1 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026
This KS1 Teacher role is within a nurturing and well-organised primary environment where pupils benefit from strong routines, positive behaviour, and a clear focus on learning and personal development. Teaching is purposeful and engaging, with children well supported to develop confidence, independence, and strong early foundations. Leadership provides clear direction and ensures staff work collaboratively to create a calm, inclusive setting where pupils feel safe and valued.Duties as KS1 Teacher:

- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform planning and next steps
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and presentation of work
- Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support pupil progress
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil development
- Contribute to planning, moderation, and wider school activities
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and follow all school policies
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development
- Is confident managing a full-time class and maintaining strong routines
- Is patient, nurturing, and committed to supporting young learners
- Communicates effectively with pupils, staff, and parents
- Is organised, reflective, and adaptable
- Can commit to a long-term, ongoing role from September 2026
