You will be supporting pupils across Nottingham and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality Mathematics teaching while adapting to a range of classrooms and school environments.Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the secondary curriculum
• Teach a range of mathematical topics across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Use effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
• Assess and record pupil progress where required
• Work collaboratively with department staff and support teams
• Contribute positively to wider school life during longer-term placements

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils across different key stages
• Adaptable and professional approach across varied school settings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
