This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role is ideal for an experienced Business Studies or Economics teacher ready to teach from September 2026.Duties of Business Studies and Economics Teacher:
- Teach Business Studies and Economics across relevant key stages
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business and Economics
- Analyse pupil performance data to inform interventions and improvement strategies
- Ensure curriculum coverage aligns with examination specifications and school priorities
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and leadership responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and departmental documentation
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Business Studies and or Economics at secondary level
- Proven track record of strong classroom practice and pupil outcomes
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Confident communication and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate pupils
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Willingness to commit to a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent
