An ambitious and well-regarded secondary school in Bromley is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their successful English department from September 2026.

This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and academic success.

The Role

As a Teacher of English, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students through the study of English Language and Literature.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies where required.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the English curriculum and department.
  • Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and events.
