About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Supervisor to join a leading social housing contractor operating across Kingston and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with experience managing damp, mould, disrepair, and property maintenance works within the social housing sector.

As a Damp & Mould Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of remediation and repair programmes, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing operatives and subcontractors, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise damp and mould remediation works across occupied and void social housing properties.
  • Manage and coordinate operatives and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct property inspections, diagnose issues, and identify appropriate remedial solutions.
  • Monitor the quality of works through regular site inspections and post-completion checks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures, and client standards.
  • Liaise with tenants, housing associations, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Support the management of disrepair cases and ensure all works are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and contractual obligations, producing reports where required.
  • Investigate and resolve any operational issues or customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Damp & Mould Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, Disrepair Supervisor, or similar role within social housing or property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of damp, mould, condensation, and building pathology.
  • Experience supervising teams of operatives and subcontractors.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret survey reports and implement effective remedial solutions.
  • Good IT skills and experience using property maintenance or scheduling systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
