Business Development Manager - Retail POS & Large Format

I'm currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join an established manufacturing business based in the North East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys opening new doors, thinking strategically and challenging the norm.

The business specialises in the manufacture of retail POS solutions, with a particular strength supporting multi-store retailers across the UK. However, they are far from a one-dimensional manufacturer.

With in-house creative services, client services, account management, logistics and production capabilities, they offer a true end-to-end solution for their customers.

They're now looking for a commercially minded BDM who can help shape the future growth of the business.

The Opportunity

• This isn't simply a role where you'll inherit a list of products and be told to sell them.
• The leadership team is actively looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, challenge traditional ways of thinking and identify new opportunities for growth.
• That could be opening new markets, targeting different sectors or even introducing entirely new product categories, such as packaging.
• You'll have the autonomy to influence the commercial direction of the business and become a key contributor to its future success.

What They're Looking For

• Proven Business Development experience within the print industry
• Ideally a background in Retail POS and/or Large Format Graphics
• Print manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong new business development and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinker with the confidence to bring new ideas to the table
• Comfortable opening new markets and identifying growth opportunities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to sales

Location

The successful candidate will be based in the North of the UK with regular travel to customers and the Head Office site as required.
