Engineering Coordinator - Southampton

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Engineering Coordinator to join a fast-paced engineering environment in Southampton. This is a pivotal role where you’ll keep projects moving, teams aligned, and site operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll be the central hub connecting engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered without a hitch.

• Coordinating site activities, travel, access, and logistics for engineering teams
• Managing documentation, reports, and compliance records with precision
• Overseeing timesheets and system entries to ensure accurate project tracking
• Organising tooling, equipment, and calibration schedules
• Supporting project planning, resource coordination, and operational reporting
• Preparing site documentation including health & safety packs (RAMS)
• Managing PPE and uniform requirements for field teams
• Liaising with third-party suppliers, contractors, and service providers
• Troubleshooting coordination challenges and keeping everything on track

• You thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment
• You’re naturally organised and love keeping things structured and efficient
• You’re confident communicating with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders
• You have experience in a coordination or admin role (engineering, construction, or technical sectors ideal)
• You’re systems-savvy (SAP or similar would be a bonus)
• You’re proactive — you spot issues before they become problems
