KS2 Teacher – part-time, long-term temporary until December 2026, starting September 2026
The inspection report highlights a calm and inclusive school environment where pupils demonstrate positive attitudes to learning and feel well supported. Teaching is purposeful and well structured, enabling pupils to make steady progress across the curriculum. Leadership provides clear direction and maintains a strong focus on safeguarding, consistency, and pupil well-being.
This KS2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work full-time within a supportive primary school. The KS2 Teacher will focus on delivering high-quality classroom teaching using existing planning and resources, with no planning or marking required. This role is ideal for a confident KS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching without additional workload and can provide consistency for pupils from September 2026 onwards.Duties as KS2 Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons using pre-prepared plans and resources
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement in learning
  • Adapt delivery to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and colleagues
  • Provide feedback to pupils during lessons to support understanding
  • Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
  • Reliable and committed to a full-time, long-term role
  • Flexible and adaptable teaching approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
