# Senior Market Data Engineer

**Location:** Hong Kong or Singapore (Relocation Support Available)
**Salary:** HKD 2,000,000 – 5,000,000 per annum

## About the Company

Our client is a leading quantitative trading and investment management firm with over **USD 20 billion in assets under management**. With more than 200 employees across Asia, they are continuing their international expansion and investing heavily in their global market data platform.

As part of this growth, they are looking for an experienced **Senior Market Data Engineer** to play a key role in building and enhancing the firm's global market data infrastructure.

## The Opportunity

Working within a high-performance engineering team, you will design and develop scalable market data systems that support low-latency trading across global markets. This is a business-critical hire with significant visibility and the opportunity to influence the firm's next generation of market data capabilities.

## What You'll Bring

* 5 years' experience in market data engineering or related roles
* Strong commercial experience developing in **C**
* Experience working within **quantitative trading, hedge funds, fintech, or AI-driven investment management**
* Hands-on experience with **NBBO and historical market data**
* Experience supporting **global markets**, particularly **APAC equities**
* Strong understanding of market data management, data quality and validation
* Experience working with external market data vendors
* Fluent **Mandarin and English** communication skills
