Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Up to £7,500 OTE through Call-Out & Overtime
Permanent Full-Time
Build Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the built environment - from executive to operative level.
With offices in London, Manchester and the South West, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales.
We are currently working in partnership with a leading Housing Association who are seeking an experienced Electrician to join their responsive repairs and maintenance team covering West London.
What We Need:- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391, 2394 & 2395 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- AM2 Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and installations within occupied social housing properties
- Undertaking EICRs, fault finding and remedial works
- Diagnosing faults and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
- Ensuring all electrical works comply with current regulations and health & safety standards
- Completing all certification and compliance documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and residents
- Working efficiently to agreed service levels and performance targets
- Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota
- Basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000
- Opportunity to earn an additional £7,500 OTE through call-out and overtime

- Previous experience working as an Electrician within social housing, local authority, housing association, domestic or property maintenance environments
- Experience carrying out electrical testing, inspections, repairs and installations
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of electrical safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
