Monday to Friday - flexible hours - 37 per week

Are you an experienced Management Accountant available at short notice and confident stepping straight into a busy, evolving finance environment?

We’re supporting an organisation that needs an interim Management Accountant to provide hands on support across the full finance function bringing clarity, control, and insight from day one. There are 3 in the team so you must enjoy owning the numbers end to end, partnering with stakeholders, and making an immediate impact.

You’ll play a key role in delivering a robust management accounting and financial reporting service, whilst supporting business decision making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the full month end process, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Producing accurate and insightful management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Providing clear financial reporting and analysis to support decision making.
• Acting as a finance business partner to key stakeholders across the business.
• Monitoring performance against budgets and highlighting risks/opportunities.
• Supporting transactional processes including AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with relevant standards.
• Driving improvements in processes, reporting, and systems.

I am keen to speak with candidates who can hit the ground running and bring both technical expertise and commercial awareness.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven end to end management accounting experience.
• Experience working in SMEs or fast-paced environments.
• Advanced Excel skills (essential), comfortable working with complex data and building reports.
• Experience business partnering and influencing non finance stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands on approach with a “get stuck in” attitude.
