Location - Reading
Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

We are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a growing manufacturing business based in Reading. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the stores, warehouse, goods-in and dispatch functions. You'll play a key part in ensuring materials are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately to keep production running smoothly. 

This position would suit someone with previous warehouse or stores experience who is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy team.

• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
• Storing stock safely and accurately within the warehouse.
• Picking and issuing materials for production and customer orders.
• Assisting with stock control, cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Producing delivery documentation and arranging courier collections.
• Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock.

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or goods-in environment.
• Good understanding of stock control, picking, packing and inventory processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Monday to Friday working hours – 7:30am to 4:00pm.
