Are you an experienced Account Manager with a background in printed direct mail?

 

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established integrated communications business that has been established for over 30 years. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Account Manager to their client services team.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that combines strategy, creative, print, data and direct mail solutions under one roof, delivering exceptional campaigns for an impressive portfolio of clients.

 

As an Account Manager, you'll become the trusted partner for your clients, managing projects from initial brief through to final delivery. Working closely with internal creative, production, procurement and logistics teams, you'll ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

 

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing campaign delivery and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

 

This is predominantly an office-based role in, and we're ideally looking for someone who can be onsite daily to collaborate closely with colleagues. Following a successful onboarding period, a flexible hybrid working arrangement will be available, allowing some home working.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage projects across print, direct mail, design and marketing services
  • Prepare quotations, estimates and client proposals
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Manage proofing, approvals and production schedules
  • Monitor budgets, timelines and project performance
  • Use MIS and CRM systems to track activity and maintain accurate records
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
  • Support client retention, account growth and commercial success
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, brand guidelines and ISO processes

 

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within a similar Account Management, Client Services or Project Management role within the print, mailing, marketing services or creative production sectors.

 

You'll ideally have:

  • 2 years' experience in an Account Management role
  • Knowledge of print production, and/or direct mail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience using CRM
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering outstanding client service
