Catering Tutor – Permanent, Full-time, starting September 2026

This is a specialist training provider that delivers vocational and employability programmes designed to help learners develop practical skills and improve their future career prospects. The organisation works closely with employers and community partners to provide meaningful learning experiences and real-world opportunities.

Duties as Catering Tutor:

 

  • Delivering high-quality catering and hospitality training
  • Teaching food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety practices
  • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based sessions
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing feedback and support
  • Supporting learners to achieve qualifications and employment outcomes
  • Promoting a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Catering Tutor:
  • Previous experience within catering, hospitality, professional kitchens, food production, or a related industry (essential)
  • Strong practical knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
