Are you an experienced Estimator looking to work on major social housing and planned maintenance projects?

We're recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established contractor delivering planned works, refurbishment, retrofit and decarbonisation projects across the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work and excellent career progression.

Working closely with commercial, operational and bid teams, you'll produce accurate and competitive estimates for a range of planned investment projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.

• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities.

• Preparing competitive tender submissions for planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit projects.

• Supporting tender reviews and project handovers.

• Previous experience as an Estimator within Social Housing, Planned Maintenance or Planned Works.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, pricing and estimating.

• Experience producing tender submissions and cost plans.

• Excellent Excel and estimating software skills.

• Knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) or schedule of rates pricing would be highly advantageous.

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
