SEND Teacher – Specialist Provision, long-term temporary and ongoing, starting September 2026

Duties as SEND Teacher:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons tailored to pupils' learning needs
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND and additional needs
• Creating a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
• Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil development

Ideal SEND Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEND pupils is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive practice
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
