Welding & Engineering Lecturer – Further Education College, long-term temporary and ongoing, full time starting September 2026

Duties as a Welding and Engineering Lecturer:

 

  • Delivering Welding and Engineering programmes to learners
  • Teaching practical workshop-based and classroom sessions
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting students to achieve qualifications and industry standards
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant workshop environment
  • Contributing to curriculum development and learner success
Ideal Welding and Engineering Lecturer:
  • Substantial welding experience (essential)
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification or higher (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and workshop practice
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passion for teaching, training, and supporting learner development
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare
