We're working with a leading property services contractor that is looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator to join its commercial team in Birmingham.

Supporting the delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit projects for housing associations and local authorities, this is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced estimators and develop your career within a growing business.

You'll support the preparation of competitive tenders across a range of social housing contracts, including:

• Assisting with cost estimates for planned maintenance and refurbishment projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Supporting tender submissions and pricing exercises
• Working closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the bid process

• Previous experience within an estimating or commercial role
• Social housing, planned works or property services experience is highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills and good commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Construction-related qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous

• £35,000 - £45,000 package
