Plumber (Static Site)
Location: York
We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join a static site maintenance team based in York. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, site-based role with regular hours, optional overtime, and no on-call requirement.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive plumbing maintenance tasks across the site, including:
- Routine water system flushing in line with compliance requirements
- Checking and recording hot and cold water outlet temperatures
- Diagnosing and repairing leaks
- Clearing blockages
- General plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or City & Guilds Plumbing qualification (essential)
- L8 qualification would be highly desirable
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar plumbing maintenance role
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day maintenance tasks
- Salary: £32,000 per annum
- Overtime available
- No on-call rota
- Stable, permanent position on a single static site
