Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for an exciting Year 5 opportunity in a supportive and inclusive school?

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Slough to recruit an inspiring Year 5 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026. The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning. You'll create a positive classroom environment where all pupils feel challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Working alongside a collaborative Key Stage 2 team, you'll have access to high-quality planning, shared resources and ongoing professional development, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom where every child can succeed.
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school (or be an ECT completing your induction).
  • A secure understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A positive, reflective and collaborative approach to teaching.
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their very best.
