We are seeking a talented CNC Setter Operator to join our growing team. As a CNC Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality components and maintaining the highest levels of quality and precision. You will also be trained in specialist centreless grinding techniques as part of your ongoing development. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC and manual machine tools. 
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. 
• Working to tight tolerances and demanding quality standards. 
• Using micrometers and precision measuring equipment. 
• Conducting first-off and in-process inspections. 
• Producing precision-engineered aerospace components. 
• Supporting continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives. 
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. 

We are looking for a CNC Setter Operator with a strong engineering background and a passion for precision manufacturing.

• Experience as a CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist, CNC Turner or CNC Miller.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. 
• Experience working to tight tolerances. 
• Confident use of micrometers and measuring equipment. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience working with:
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless Steel
  • Inconel 
• Experience with manual machine tools.
