Lunchtime Supervisor / Lunchtime Cover - Temporary, starting September 2026

Duties as a Lunchtime Supervisor:

 

  • Supervising pupils during lunch periods
  • Promoting positive behaviour and respectful interactions
  • Supporting children in dining and playground areas
  • Encouraging safe and inclusive play
  • Managing minor behavioural incidents appropriately
  • Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of pupils at all times
  • Working closely with school staff to maintain a positive environment
Ideal Lunchtime Supervisor:
  • Previous lunchtime cover or lunchtime supervisor experience is essential
  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and professional approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
