Our client is a well-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business that delivers bespoke, high-specification products for projects across the UK. Working with customers in highly regulated sectors, they have built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service.
Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their busy Projects team.
The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As the Project Coordinator, you will take ownership of multiple live projects, ensuring information flows efficiently between customers, design, manufacturing and suppliers while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate multiple projects from order through to completion.
- Review project information received from the sales team and support the design team with the production of manufacturing drawings and schedules.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications and customer communications.
- Monitor project programmes and provide customers with regular progress updates in line with agreed timescales.
- Update project information on customer portals and cloud-based project management systems.
- Attend customer meetings, record actions and ensure follow-up tasks are completed.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered in line with project requirements.
- Produce and maintain accurate project reports and documentation.
- Work closely with internal departments including Sales, Design, Production and Accounts to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Support the resolution of customer account queries where required to help maintain project progress and payment schedules.
To be successful in this Project Coordinator role, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or similar role.
- Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or another technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and project management systems.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
