SEND Teacher – Primary School, long-term temporary and ongoing, part-time, starting September 2026

Here is a thriving primary school catering for pupils aged 3–11 and serving a diverse local community. The school was judged Good by Ofsted, with inspectors praising the Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Early Years Provision.

SEND Teacher Duties:
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve their targets
  • Creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, the SENDCo, and external professionals
  • Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to EHCP reviews where appropriate
  • Promoting pupils' confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Ideal SEND Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND
  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND best practice
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • Passion for inclusive education and pupil development
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
