Title: CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000 - £43,680 per annum 
Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:00pm

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced 3 Axis CNC Miller Programmer to join a growing engineering business within the Automotive industry. Working with modern CNC milling machinery, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating high-spec Hurco and Fanuc machines, producing precision-engineered components for a variety of applications.

CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:

• Program, set and operate 3 Axis CNC milling machines
• Online programming using Hurco WinMax and Fanuc control systems
• Manufacture high-precision, bespoke and small-batch components
• Produce tooling, fixtures and jigs where required
• Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure components meet specification
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances

CNC Miller Programmer Experience:

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating 3 Axis CNC milling machines
• Experience using Hurco WinMax and/or Fanuc control systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good understanding of machining processes, materials and tolerances
• Exposure to 5 Axis machining or a willingness to develop into the role (Desirable)
• Experience manufacturing tooling, jigs and fixtures (Desirable)
• Time-served CNC machining apprenticeship or equivalent
