We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join a range of schools and educational settings.

 

The Role

 

As an HLTA, you will support teaching and learning across the school, working with pupils individually, in small groups or with whole classes.

 

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering planned lessons and learning activities.
• Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supporting pupils' learning, progress and development.
• Working with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
• Supporting behaviour, engagement and classroom management.
• Adapting resources to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Experienced working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA.
• Confident supporting learning across a range of subjects and age groups.
• Reliable, adaptable and organised.
• Confident managing behaviour and leading learning activities.
• A strong communicator and team player.
• Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

 

Relevant qualifications and experience are desirable, with HLTA status or equivalent experience advantageous.
