Contract Manager 

Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Car Allowance

We're working in partnership with a leading contractor delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes across the social housing sector. Due to continued contract commitments, they're looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to join their operational team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, driving operational performance, and delivering high-quality planned works contracts across the Midlands.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of planned maintenance contracts, primarily focusing on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes, alongside wider planned investment works. Working closely with operational teams and clients, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of planned maintenance contracts.

  • Lead, motivate and support supervisors, site teams and operatives to achieve programme targets.

  • Drive productivity, quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction across multiple projects.

  • Oversee programming, resource planning and contract performance.

  • Monitor KPIs, budgets and operational delivery to ensure contractual targets are achieved.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and overall contract performance.

  • Ensure works are delivered in line with company procedures and industry standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience as a Contract Manager within planned maintenance, property services or social housing.

  • Experience delivering kitchen and bathroom programmes or similar planned refurbishment works.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop operational teams.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach to managing programmes and driving performance.

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

  • A good understanding of operational delivery, health & safety and commercial performance.

  • A full UK Driving Licence.
