Witney, Oxfordshire £40,000 - £45,000

Work on high-performance engineered products. Take ownership from concept to production.

Orion Electrotech are partnered with an innovative engineering manufacturer operating within the high-performance automotive and motorsport sector.

With a reputation for engineering excellence and customers across global performance-focused markets, the business is continuing to invest in new product development and is looking to strengthen its engineering team.

As a smaller, highly specialised business, engineers here have the opportunity to be genuinely involved in the entire product lifecycle. You'll work closely with manufacturing, prototyping and production teams, giving you real ownership over projects and the chance to see your designs evolve from initial concept through to finished product.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, being hands-on with development work and having a visible impact within a growing organisation.

  • Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Produce manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
  • Develop new products and improve existing designs
  • Design components for CNC machining and manufacture
  • Support prototype development, testing and validation activities
  • Collaborate closely with production and assembly teams to optimise designs
  • Maintain Bills of Materials and engineering documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation projects

  • An understanding of engineering materials and design for manufacture principles
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges

  • Be part of a small, agile engineering team where your ideas are heard
  • Gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle
  • Enjoy a varied role combining design, development, prototyping and manufacturing support
