Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high standards of customer service and complying with all driving and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customer locations.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure goods are transported safely and securely.
• Obtain delivery confirmations where required.
• Complete all delivery paperwork or electronic records accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Comply with all road traffic legislation, Driver CPC requirements, and company policies.

Essential Requirements

• Valid UK Category C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role. The successful candidate must be able to:

• Lift, carry, and manoeuvre delivered goods safely using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Frequently enter and exit the vehicle throughout the working day.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs where required to complete deliveries.
• Carry out the physical demands of delivering goods throughout a full working shift.
