Health & Safety Officer

Birmingham, onsite

Salary: £38,000–£41,000 DOE

We're looking for an experienced H&S & Process Supervisor to lead Health & Safety and production process improvements within our manufacturing operation.

This brand new role is to support our already strong H&S record as we grow and produce more, safety is at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Own site Health & Safety and compliance.

• Carry out and manage risk assessments.

• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Drive 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Train and support production staff.

• Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production processes.

Essential

• IOSH Managing Safely.

• Experience with Health & Safety, risk assessments, and SOP writing.

• Knowledge of 5S.

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Confident delivering training.

Desirable

• NEBOSH qualification.
