Quality, Safety, Environmental & Compliance Manager (QSEC Manager)

Location: London - in and around M25 (with regular site and operational visits)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality, Safety, Environmental & Compliance (QSEC) Manager to join a leading organisation within the lift and engineering sector.

This senior role is responsible for leading the company's Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Compliance functions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, environmental regulations, GDPR, and industry standards.
  • Manage audits, certifications, regulatory inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Oversee risk assessments, RAMS, COSHH, incident investigations, and RIDDOR reporting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for regulators, auditors, and accreditation bodies.
  • Provide technical compliance support, including Declarations of Conformity, Building Safety Regulator documentation, and interpretation of industry standards.

 

About You
  • Proven experience in a QSEC, HSEQ, or Compliance leadership role within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience leading audits and driving continuous improvement.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and ISO Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
