- Implement and verify Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Analyse quality data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and Operations to improve manufacturing performance.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Drive initiatives aimed at reducing waste, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have developed their career within a manufacturing environment and have a proactive approach to quality management.
Requirements- HNC, HND, Degree, or Apprenticeship qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar role.
- Proven experience managing NCRs, RCA, and CAPA activities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
You'll be:
Proactive and self-motivated
Comfortable working directly on the shop floor
Driven to solve problems rather than simply report them
Able to build strong relationships across departments
Passionate about continuous improvement
Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
Committed to delivering sustainable quality improvements
This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of manufacturing operations and takes pride in making a visible difference every day.

- 37.5-hour working week
- Opportunity to work within a collaborative manufacturing environment
- A role with genuine autonomy and ownership
- The chance to drive continuous improvement and influence business performance
