Build Recruitment is representing a leading social housing contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee responsive repairs and void works across the South West region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join a growing organisation, leading operational teams and ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple contracts.

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Site Managers delivering responsive repairs and void works. You will ensure contracts are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, operational teams, and subcontractors to maintain strong relationships, improve performance, and deliver successful contract outcomes.

• Lead and support a team delivering responsive repairs and void works.
• Manage contract delivery, programmes, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained across all operations.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings to review performance and future works.
• Monitor KPIs, work in progress (WIP), and contract targets.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure all contract documentation and reporting is completed accurately and on time.

• Proven experience managing responsive repairs and void contracts within a social housing environment.
• Experience managing operational teams and site-based resources.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, schedules of rates, and contract performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• SMSTS or relevant NVQ qualification (or willingness to renew).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• DBS check required.
