An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading provider of property maintenance and regeneration services. Working within the Planned Works division, you'll play a key role in delivering refurbishment and improvement programmes across residential properties, ensuring commercial performance while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial performance of Planned Works contracts from inception through to final account.
  • Prepare, submit and agree valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts to maximise profitability.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor packages, including valuations and payments.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Produce accurate cost reports and commercial forecasts.
  • Work closely with Operational Managers and Site Teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support contract delivery by providing commercial advice and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
About You

We're looking for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience delivering Planned Works or refurbishment projects.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Planned Works, Social Housing, Refurbishment or Construction.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing subcontractor procurement and accounts.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • A proactive approach with excellent communication abilities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
