Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Supervising students and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
• Supporting students with completing set work
• Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and behaviour
• Promoting high standards of attendance, engagement, and conduct

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confident leading a classroom and managing groups of students
• Flexible, organised, and professional approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
