Are you an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager looking for a role where you can make a real impact while enjoying the flexibility of remote working?

We're working with a well-established and growing contractor that specialises in delivering high-value repairs and planned works programmes across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced commercial leader to oversee major contracts and lead a successful commercial team.

This is a fully remote position, with all business travel and hotel accommodation paid whenever site visits or client meetings are required.

The Role

You'll take full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of repairs and planned maintenance contracts, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Leading a team of commercial professionals, you'll play a key role in driving performance, mentoring staff and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial delivery of multiple repairs and planned works contracts.
  • Manage projects with values ranging from £15 million to £30 million.
  • Provide leadership, support and development to a team of three commercial professionals.
  • Ensure robust commercial controls, cost management and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and operational teams.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project performance.
  • Support business growth through strategic commercial decision-making.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager or in a similar senior commercial leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing repairs and planned works contracts within Social Housing or a similar sector.
  • Demonstrable experience overseeing projects valued between £15m and £30m.
  • Experience managing and developing a commercial team.
  • Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
