Cover Supervisor – Long-term temporary and ongoing, starting September 2026

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with completing set work
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confidence managing groups of students independently
• Flexible, organised, and professional approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
