Cover Supervisor – Long-term temporary and ongoing, starting September 2026

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of curriculum areas
• Ensure students remain engaged and focused on their work
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
• Support students with completing assigned tasks
• Record attendance and report any concerns to relevant staff
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and student conduct

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Confidence leading groups of students independently
• Organised, adaptable, and professional approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
