Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality façade and cladding projects across the South East?

We're working with a growing business that has built an excellent reputation within the façade sector and is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of façade and cladding projects from pre-start through to final account. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full commercial management of multiple projects
• Day-to-day cost control and commercial reporting
• Preparing, submitting and progressing applications for payment
• Managing variations and additional works
• Producing and agreeing final accounts
• Procuring subcontractors and preparing subcontract documentation
• Managing subcontractor payments, variations and records
• Site measurements and preparation of dimension sheets
• Producing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
• Monitoring material budgets against actual usage
• Supporting Site Managers with pre-start planning and project programming

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Previous experience within facades, cladding or the external envelope sector is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of building subcontracts
• Proven commercial and cost management experience
• Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
• Appropriate CSCS card
