Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Duties as Teaching Assistant:
  • Supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Supporting children with differing learning needs and abilities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
  • Helping to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable
  • Experience within a school or educational setting is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
