Permanent £35,000 per year Company Van & Fuel Card

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a team working across North Cornwall on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Roofer looking for a stable, long-term position carrying out repairs and maintenance on domestic and social housing properties.

As a Roofer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of roofing repairs and general maintenance works, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard and with excellent customer service.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out roofing repairs on social housing properties

• Repairing and replacing missing or damaged tiles

• General guttering repairs and maintenance

• External building repairs

• Identifying and resolving roofing defects

• Working within occupied properties and dealing professionally with customers when required

• Completing work to a high standard and within agreed timescales

• Safely and responsibly driving the company van

• Roofing qualification or time-served experience

• Strong experience in roofing repairs and maintenance

• Good knowledge of domestic roofing

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Reliable with good timekeeping

• Hardworking and able to work independently

• Full UK driving licence

• Able to work across North Cornwall

• £36,000 per year

• Permanent contract

• Company van

• Fuel card

• 23 days annual leave bank holidays

• Fortnightly pay

• Long-term, stable work

• Opportunity to work with an established housing maintenance team
