Job Title: Temporary Housekeeper
Location: Newcastle Centre
Hourly Rate: £13.45ph
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Lunch Break: 30 minutes unpaid lunch break
Duration: Initial 4-week assignment with the potential for extension

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Housekeeper to join our team for an initial 4-week period. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across communal areas and supporting end-of-tenancy property turnaround cleaning.

• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas to a high standard.
• Cleaning corridors, hallways, stairwells, and shared facilities.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and associated amenities.
• Completing end-of-tenancy cleaning and property turnaround tasks.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables as required.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or damages.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities experience preferred.
• Experience working within residential property, student accommodation, hotels, serviced apartments, care settings, commercial buildings, or similar environments would be highly advantageous.
• Experience carrying out end-of-tenancy or deep-cleaning duties is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
• Ability to undertake physical cleaning duties and be on your feet for extended periods.

• Temporary assignment for an initial 4 weeks - could be extended
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• 40 hours per week.
• Potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
