With decades of engineering expertise, the business combines innovative design with skilled in-house manufacturing to deliver robust, purpose-built solutions for a diverse customer base. This is a hands-on engineering environment where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and see your designs progress from initial concept through to manufacture and final delivery.
They are now looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys practical design, problem-solving and working closely with manufacturing teams to turn concepts into finished products.
The Role

The role will involve:
- Producing detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Developing bespoke mechanical components, assemblies and systems.
- Supporting projects from concept and design through to manufacture.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and fit for purpose.
- Making design improvements and resolving technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Working with suppliers and external stakeholders where required.
- Supporting the development of new products and continuous improvement of existing designs.
- Ensuring designs meet relevant engineering standards and customer requirements.

What's on Offer
- Opportunity to join a growing and established engineering business.
- Varied and interesting bespoke engineering projects.
- Full involvement from concept through to manufacture.
- Close collaboration with experienced engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Genuine opportunity for professional development and progression.
