Duties as Food Technology Teacher:- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills and nutritional knowledge
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment within practical classrooms
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and participation
- Support curriculum development within the department
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and health and safety requirements
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
