Electrical Technician
- 3 month rolling contract
- PAYE £22.63ph
- Umbrella option too
- Monday to Friday days

As an Electrical Technician, you'll become part of a collaborative production and engineering team where your skills will directly contribute to the successful build, testing and delivery of complex electrical systems.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Electrical Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Electrical wiring and assembly of control panels and systems
- Working from electrical schematics and EPLAN drawings
- Looming, panel wiring and sub-assembly manufacture
- Testing, validation and fault-finding of electrical systems
- Supporting electro-mechanical assembly and integration activities
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Contributing to continuous improvement of electrical build and validation processes
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Occasionally supporting installation, servicing and upgrade work at customer sites
This Electrical Technician position offers a varied workload and the chance to work on technically advanced equipment within a supportive team environment.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this Electrical Technician role, you will need:
- City & Guilds, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in electrical or electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of EPLAN or experience working from electrical schematics
- Understanding of current electrical principles and regulations
- Strong practical fault-finding, validation and debugging skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
The following would be advantageous:
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- PAT Testing experience or relevant electrical safety qualifications
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and modern system architecture
